HomeGrown is a startup studio on a mission to grow brand new B2B SaaS startups across the Western New York region. We build startups in-house and then recruit co-founders to scale them.

Our Process

Six steps to launching successful SaaS startups from idea to exit

Step #1 - Discovery

We begin with extensive customer discovery research to surface painful problems across a targeted industry vertical and/or audience.

Step #2 - Ideation

We then develop concepts for new software products that can solve the problem(s) we uncover in our discovery research phase.

Step #3 - Testing

These concepts are systematically tested using a mix of qualitative (interview) and quantitative (survey) research methods.

Step #4 - Development

Using no/low code platforms we build a minimum viable product (MVP), getting to revenue and traction as quickly as possible.

Step #5 - Team Building

We then form a company and team around the product by recruiting a co-founder from (or to) the WNY region and hiring local talent.

Step #6 - Scale to Exit

We work closely with our co-founders to raise capital (if needed), build out the team and scale operations en route to an exit.
